Call up everyone the night before the party.
Call up a couple of friends and ask them to spread the message to others.

What about your guest list?

I have a printed guest list in hand, a week before the party.
I decide the guest names, 2-3 days before the party.
Tell my friends to spread the word and get at least 2-3 acquaintances each.

What about the venue?

I prefer booking a nice place and have it decorated before the party.
My home or book another place, depending on the number of guests.
No time to search for venues, my home is good enough.

Yes, some party games with starters, dance and music, then dinner.
Not totally, but I do arrange for a good music player with some great dance tracks.

Yes, I make it a point to see that everyone is enjoying the evening.
I keep an eye on the general party atmosphere. Thats good enough.
I make sure that at least I myself have a rocking time.
